300 mpg is not a Typo it’s a Typ1
December 31, 2007

California is now in the green race of America and is here to give Detroit a piece of their medicine. Aptera, a Carlsbad, CA-based company is out with a car (not practically a car as it has three wheels); I should say a transport vehicle that gives a whooping 3-0-0-Miles-Per-Gallon. We sure think it is just a concept car or a vehicle and we see things like these all the time. NO. This has been driven and practically tested; it is a hybrid (I will compromise on that), but even then it is six times times more than a Prius. Read more
Honda Hybrid Concept: From CRX to CRZ
December 31, 2007

Honda is ready to roll out their Prius to compete with the Prius itself, the challenge to the Icon of Hybrids, which sells usually 5 times more than the Honda. But trust me this one looks very promising, it’s the CRZ different and challenges the whole image of a four door family hybrid. It looks like a sporty two door; well actually it is. The interior has a glassy feeling, we are not sure whether the production model would be the same.

Car Chameleon: Now a Possibility
December 22, 2007
Changing your car’s paint every now and then is a possibility…at least in the near future. Japanese car company Nissan was reported to have developed paramagnetic paint that allows the owner to change the color of the carpaint with just a switch. The paramagnetic paint coating is described to be a “unique polymer layer with iron oxide particles.” And how does it change color? The polymer crystals when applied by electric current is interpreted as different colors by the human eye.
Deciding on what color you really want can be a quite a challenge so hopefully with this car paint innovation, choosing time can be cut into half. So you like silver and green? You can have both in the future…like in 2010.
It’s interesting to note that this is not the first time that Nissan made an attempt to revolutionize paint technology. They have already released the “Scratch Guard Coat” that aims to prevent car scratches already available in Infiniti EX35 2008 model.

Honda Gyroscopic GPS Locator: All you need is some old paper map …
December 3, 2007

What’s with this anti-satellite weaponry out there? I agree that almost everything depends on these tin cans in space. What would you do without your GPS in your car when the cans get blown out? The Electro Gyrocator or I should say Gyroscopic Locator made by Honda should come to your aid. All you need is some old paper maps and that’s it. Well, hope you don’t mind the price of nearly 3,000 dollars, coz the sole other option is another billion dollar satellite. So take your decision carefully. I do agree this plotter works in a retro fashion by plotting your car and tracking it on transparent glass with the map that you feed in the background. Read more
