AvMap Geosat 6 GPS: Knows when you’re too drunk to drive …

June 9, 2008

AvMap-Geosat-6A new GPS gadget has recently been introduced to the navigation market: the AvMap Geosat 6. Just like the Teddy Robot, this GPS unit won’t be ideal for the drinkers because it can test the driver’s alcohol level.

The AvMap Geosat 6 works well as an ordinary GPS device but it irritates as it comes with an alcohol sensor. However, alcoholics can choose not to test their alcohol level by simply not blowing onto device to get a reading.

AvMap Geosat 6 impresses with its 4.8-inch wide-aspect touchscreen, Bluetooth for hands free mobile phone use, as well as, spoken guidance prompts. It was in Italy that Peugeot first used this GPS as part of promotion but the AvMap Geosat 6 is now available in all of Europe.

The $702 GPS device that uses TeleAtlas mapping data will be available before June ends.
