Bread winning car behind the curtains: 2010 Acura TL triangulated

Acura is making some major changes in all of its sedans these days. The all-new TSX (Accord for Europe) looks pretty, and the new RL that was displayed at the 2008 Chicago Motor Show will be launched in 2010. But the bread winning car at Acura is still behind the curtains. We’re talking about the Acura TL, which is also expected to be launched in 2010. TL is the mid range sedan from the Honda’s luxury brand.Undoubtedly one of the best selling Acuras in America, the good news is that the styling of the new car will be different but will carry the same profile with edges and triangular themes, which are so characteristic of this range. As noticed in the new TSX, this car will have a metallic triangular front grille.
Considering it’s a passion model for the company, we hope the designing team would be a little conservative with the styling and not take too many risks. As they say, change is fine, but don’t downtune the original fancy.
The new 2010 Acura TL will continue to be a front wheel drive with a V6 engine, but chances are they might release it in an All-Wheel Drive version. Whatever be the case, I sure am saving the greens for it (because hopefully someday…).
