Finally official: Chevrolet Camaro’s Catalog

camaro_chevyThis is one of the most important cars under the range of $50,000. After staring in the Transformers movie and then being talked about by all the spy magazines, it’s finally official. Chevrolet has revealed the official details about the Camaro, it is going to be available in three different models.

The LS, LT and SS. The LS and LT will feature a 3.6 Liter Direct Inject V-6 engine with 300 Hp and 273 Lb. ft. of torque. The SS (Super Sport) will be featured in two versions; these versions will be different on the basis of the engine and transmissions.

A Six-speed automatic will feature a new 6.2 Liter L99 V-8 engine which produces a performance of 400 Hp and 395 Lb. Ft. of torque. The part of news we have been waiting for is the other version of the SS with a Manual Six Speed transmission, it has a 6.2 Liter LS3 V-8 engine.

This powerhouse will produce a 422 Hp and 408 Lb.-Ft. of torque. We should not avoid the topic of mileage in the world of today, the 3.6 Liter will give 26 MPG and the 6.2 V8 with Automatic transmission comes with a Active Fuel Management System that gives a good 23 MPG for a sports car.

The LT and the SS version will be available with a RS package option for HID headlamps with halo lamps, spoilers, specific tail lamps and 20 inch wheels. The SS will get 4 piston Brembo Brake Calipers and will feature a Launch Control System.
