Bugatti’s Targa Grand Sport
September 3, 2008
Bugatti breaks all the records and defies physics in many ways with top speed of 253 and 0-60 in 2.3 seconds. The Volkswagen Group from Germany invested about 10 million per car in research and development to achieve this impossible dream car with 1001 Horsepower. There have been various versions like the Pur Sang and Sang Noir which are just famous for their cosmetic beauty.
The new variant is the Gran Sport, the Targa version of the Bugatti Veyron 16.4. The Gran Sport will feature a removable top which looks opaque but is transparent. This might challenge the design and mechanical aspects of the car, like the performance figures and weight distribution which might hurt the reputation. Almost like a woman going topless and only being aesthetically appealing and not vulgar.
The word from Molsheim, France is that it will still live up to the reputation. Details will be revealed about the specs when the car will be revealed to the public at the Pebble Beach Concours on August 16. There will only be 80 of these cars made, but it’s not for sure whether this count will be exclusive of the 300 Bugatti Veyrons or not.
Hurry up and get yours first thing in the morning as 150 Veyrons are already with their owners.
