China becomes the biggest Volkswagen customer

There is no doubt that China is becoming the most potential market for cars with its economy booming and the highest population of all nations that is 1.4 billion. VW, the German powerhouse of automobiles was one of the pioneering companies to do business in the land of the great wall. Now it has plans of selling one million cars in the year 2008. Which is more than any international market it has exploited and even more than its homeland Germany.
The company currently owns almost 19% of the car market share. The company currently sells twenty different models in the Republic of China and only 14 models in the U.S. Volkswagen is also planning to launch 14 new models in the next two years, its plan is set to make the most affordable and efficient cars to be its new money making machine.
