Dodge Viper: Keeping the venomous snake alive …
September 3, 2008
As the American automotive industry goes through a crisis, the Automotive Giant Chrysler is trying its best to keep the Viper alive. Recently there was a demand for a federal grant by the three automakers, but things have not been good especially for the Chrysler Brand after the breaking of ties with the Daimler-Benz group. The company is looking into propositions to keep its halo car alive, the VIPER. Viper is one of stuff of the legends this side of the Atlantic, packing a colossal 8.0 Liter engine.
But due to the environmental acts being imposed which puts the American muscle in trouble. The trouble with company finances also might lead to discontinuation of production of some major models from Chrysler. There are a lot of third parties which have already proposed the buying of the Viper brand from Chrysler.
The CEO Bob Nardelli says of providing full financial and technical support for keeping the legend alive. We hope the car has a bright future just like Aston Martin, which actually increased in sales after the change of ownership.
