Volvo C30 Heico: Not your average Volvo family Car

September 3, 2008

Volvo C30 T5 HeicoVolvo has earned the reputation of being the safest cars on the roads, the one that you give to your pregnant wife to go grocery shopping… not anymore. The C30 has been a not a big success for the Volvo, so they have decided to give the car a spin and revive a new image. A german tuning firm Heico Sportiv is bidding to be the Swede’s official tuner, and here is there attempt (successful) at the C30. The C30 Heico has a large intercooler attached to its turbocharged 2.5 liter engine and some modifications with the ECU there has been a change.

There is an additional 29 BHP and 44 lb. Ft. to give a 256 BHP and 280 Lb. Ft. of Torque. The torque is easily accessible through the engine’s rev range and improves the   0-60 from 6.7 to 6.0 seconds and a top speed of 155 mph. To limit the torque from producing torque steer they have added a limited slip differential.

It is been lowered by 35mm to reduce body roll, new ATE discs and pads help with awesome performance for stopping this crazy Volvo. The car would cost in total about 30 thousand pounds.
