The Fisker Karma, as we have seen and heard of before has now decided to install a GM engine in its first car to run on the roads. It has selected a 2.0 Liter engine to be installed; this engine is a direct injection system that produces 250 Hp and 260 Lb.Ft. of torque.

Honda Motor Co. moved one step ahead of Toyota, when they announced they will launch hybrid power-train based motor cycles. The company is doing so in response to the changing environment and the rising gas prices. It’s not only Honda as Yamaha is also testing electric bikes which are able to go up to 90 miles per charge of lithium-ion battery charge. But Honda is going to sell Gasoline-Electric Hybrids , the technology implemented will be adopted from the one used in Honda Civic and the new Insight sedan. The engine displacement will be around 200cc and 1,000cc, and the bikes will have a 50% mileage as compared to their gasoline counterparts.

We could not get enough of the EVO X here we have the FQ360. So what’s new? It the only one available in a five speed manual gearbox, a tweaked ECU and a new fuel pump. Sorry, I forgot to mention the raise of power from 290 to 354 BHP.

Ford in Europe is changing the looks on its model lineup, it recently modified the Kuga which is based on the Iosis Concept the company displayed in 2005 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. It sports a new body kit and 20-inch wheels and new interior with Napa and Bond leather and high gloss piano white fixtures.

Ford is currently working on a next generation engine technology that is meant to improve engine power and reduce emissions at the same time. This project is named Bobcat. It is working on a technology that uses direct injection of Ethanol. It is said a ethanol engine due to its average octane rating of 113 is able to give high performance at high compression ratios of engine.

After the R32 Golf, the next car in the lineup to get a serious upgrade is the Passat: the new R36.
