We remember Gordon Murray from the McLaren F1, but the designer has a new project a City Car. The car project is called the T25, it will be a mini-MPV, it has a multi seat layout with a 2.4 meters. It is set to release in Europe and Japan by 2012, and later in the United States. The car will use plastic panels to switch between body-styles like pick-up and commercial van, this can be done by an owner in his garage with different kits. The car is the future as companies are pushing for low-emission vehicles.

Sporty Sedans are the new trend under the automotive limelight, the Estoque, Rapide etc. but this one is one sexy thing for the green revolution. The Fisker Karma, as we have seen and heard of before has now decided to install a GM engine in its first car to run on the roads. It has selected a 2.0 Liter engine to be installed; this engine is a direct injection system that produces 250 Hp and 260 Lb.Ft. of torque.

VW has to make something to show that the company has eco-friendly look at the future, but that does not mean it has to be boring. In Vegas this year at the SEMA show they revealed that this car which produces a 311BHP and 313 Lb. Ft. of torque gives a good mileage. It has a 3-stage APR Turbocharger fitted on a Two-Liter TSI Petrol Engine. This lets you choose between three different modes, the full more (311 BHP) and 313 Lb.Ft. of torque, then the GT with 252 Hp and 268 Lb. Ft. and the ECO mode with 222HP and 236 Lb.Ft. of torque.

SEMA stands for Specialty Equipment Market Association, the next show starts on November 4 2008, in Las Vegas. This is where automotive specialists reveal their imaginations; GM is going to do something wild too. It is the Pontiac G8 Street Concept; it has the LSX 454 engine that makes this Four Door Racer a Steroidal Muscle Car. The horsepower jump from a standard G8’s V8 with 415 Hp to 638 Hp. The torque figures are 600 Lb.-Ft. from its 7.4 L V8 engine. Little bit of the technology is borrowed from its CTS-V cousin with some springs, brakes and 20-inch black chrome on the wheels. There is a new diffuser in the back with a performance exhaust system. This might never make it to the streets but the name “street concept” might inspire other that it can be done.

Pininfarina is set to reveal an electric car at the Paris Motor Show. The car will be developed in collaboration with a French company named Bollore. The design of the car is still under cover for this four-door automobile but the closest speculations point towards the Sintesi, which was revealed earlier this year at the Geneva Motor Show.

Ford is currently working on a next generation engine technology that is meant to improve engine power and reduce emissions at the same time. This project is named Bobcat. It is working on a technology that uses direct injection of Ethanol. It is said a ethanol engine due to its average octane rating of 113 is able to give high performance at high compression ratios of engine.

Audi is set to take over all the different markets with its wide range of cars, and there is a new idea in their garage for taking over the Mazda MX-5. The R3, it is supposed to be a mid-engine based car with four cylinders to be launched by 2012-2013.
